Boarding

Your pets will love boarding at Camp Countryside or in a condo in Kitty City.

It’s not just a boarding kennel- it’s a philosophy of care!

At Camp Countryside Pet Retreat outdoor activities, individual attention, and healthy fun are not just our standard of care, they are emphasized with every furry camper and never cost extra.

  • Upon arrival, every camper will get a courtesy check over and nail trimming. Your pet will look forward to the sweet voices of our camp counselors, belly rubs, and scratches behind the ears.

  • Camper suites come in all sizes to accommodate the smallest chihuahua, the biggest great Dane, the grumpiest cat, or an entire furry family.

  • Campers can enjoy watching the activities of their buddies because staying in a room by yourself is no fun. There are no concrete wall partisans that may cause your dog to feel claustrophobic or isolated from their friends.

  • If your dog was royalty, then the 2000+ square feet of outdoor yard space would be their kingdom. However, outside playtime can’t be measured in square feet, but rather how fast your dog can run. Fresh air, playing chase, fetch, and digging in the dirt are all free activities.

  • Every camper, no matter where they are staying, is provided with a warm blanket, pillow, towel, and any additional bedding materials your pet may require to be comfortable.

  • Delicious quality food is served to your specifications and is prepared fresh daily. Yummy treats are given throughout the day and a bedtime snack is given every night.

  • Each camper who has 4 nights of tail-wagging fun gets a complimentary bath before going home. Campers will love the warm shower and parents will love the price.

  • Kitty City is a quiet feline boarding area. It includes large kitty condos and Feliway pheromone diffusers are used to keep a calm environment.

  • Sometimes our campers need a little extra help from their friends. Let our camp counselors pamper your handicapped pet, hand feed your picky eater, give extra play time to your puppy or kitten, comfort your nervous nellie, and administer important medications. Countryside's dedicated team of veterinarians and technicians will carefully monitor your pets and provide them with the best possible care.

Countryside takes every precaution to maintain a flea, disease, and parasite free facility. Boarding policies have been implemented for the health and safety of all boarding pets. All boarding dogs should be vaccinated at least one week prior to boarding and must be vaccinated for Rabies, yearly Distemper/Parvo vaccines, and both a Bordatella vaccine and Intranasal Kennel Cough vaccine. Intestinal parasite testing is required every 6 months for all boarding dogs, and if test results are positive, your dog will be treated. Cats are required to have a yearly Rabies, Distemper, and Leukemia vaccinations, and a Feline Leukemia/AIDS test. If there is any evidence of fleas found on your pet appropriate treatment will be given including a bath and oral treatment. Medication and medical care, including any emergency care, will be administered to your pet if it is in our professional medical opinion necessary for the comfort and well being of your pet and a healthy environment for other pets.

You can be assured that the loving kennel staff will provide a home away from home staycation and will treat your pet like family.
